The GREEF NEW ENERGY GDG series disc type permanent magnet generator features an innovative design with spindle and rotor assembled in a disc shape. The stator remains fixed at the center while the rotor rotates on both sides. Notably, the spindle contains only windings without an iron core.

Both stator and rotor adopt a flat disc structure utilizing axial air gap magnetic flux, arranged alternately along the axial direction. The generator's short axial length combined with large diameter supports multi-pole configuration, resulting in high power-to-mass ratio.
